Money: BCC Report – July 7th 09

Andy Verity and Mickey Clark present this morning’s business stories, including:
The British Chambers of Commerce has talked to more than five and a half thousand firms and it turns out that they think the worst of the recession is behind us.
The Business and Enterprise Committee says that the response from Government departments was “inadequate” to an inquiry by MPs aimed at securing the future of post offices
We also look ahead to Marks & Spencer’s shareholders get together tomorrow following talk of a protest vote over the Chairmanship.
Finally, the plastic industry pledges to step up recycling, first time manufacturers have set their own targets and called for debate.
