CNPC eyes $14.5 billion bid for Repsol YPF stake: sources

HONG KONG (Reuters) – China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC), the country’s largest oil company, is in talks to buy a 75 percent stake in Spanish oil major Repsol’s Argentine unit YPF for up to $14.5 billion, sources said, as China continues its aggressive pursuit of overseas energy assets.
