The US has bailed out its three big carmakers but are we heading down the same road? In Britain the Government is coming under increased pressure to provide aid to the motor industry. And it’s reported this morning that tens of millions of taxpayers pounds are about to be made available. But is bailing it out the right thing to do?
We also discuss how tens of thousands of shoppers from the South of Ireland are flooding into the North to grab Christmas bargains as shops on the border offer parity between the pound and the euro.
